Innkeeper. He and Cook are in a mutually dependent relationship. He was fascinated by Cook’s cooking and has been gaining weight ever since. He has a gentle personality.

Kuromaru’s inn has rules(magic), and he uses them to design it to be more comfortable. [The interior is larger than the exterior, there are many rooms, etc…] Because of this, he is unable to leave the inn. He lived with his siblings as a child.
